David Christopher has a passion for telling truthful and transforming stories and getting lost in roles that are intense and all encompassing. Comfortable on both the stage and screen, David prefers the intimacy that film provides. Described as intense and spirited, giving and gracious, David dedicates himself to whatever project he takes on and gives his all. Best described by one of his directors as: “David Christopher is a directors dream: he is responsive to direction, yet inventive as well; he shines as an individual, but meshes seamlessly into an ensemble; he has the looks of the matinee idol, along with the humility of the character player”.
David Christopher trained at Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC and has worked as a lead actor in over twelve independent film productions including the Modus Operandi of Male Intimacy, which earned him outstanding reviews from Variety Magazine and TV Guide. David has completed over 25 commercials as principle talent and modeled in national and international print ads and catalogues.
David returned to the stage in the equity production of Inherit The Wind at Austin Playhouse in 2008 and in 2009 David appeared in City Theatre’s production of Glengarry Glen Ross (nominated Best Drama/Best Ensemble) and Zach Theatre’s equity production of The Grapes of Wrath as the lead role of Tom Joad (Nominated for Best Drama and Best Actor in a Drama). In the summer of 2010 David played multiple lead roles in ZACH Theatre’s equity production of Metamorphoses.
David has a supporting role in the feature film titled Beneath The Darkness directed by Martin Guigui with a US theatrical release on January 6th, 2012. David also starred in the feature horror film titled Zombex directed by Jesse Dayton due out in late 2011 with scenes with Malcolm McDowell, Lew Temple, Corey Feldman, and Sid Haig.
